The ReadyBe mHealth app is designed as a communication tool to bridge the gap between persons with disabilities and their healthcare providers. Further development is required on the app to fully meet the needs of users with disabilities:

1. Ensure all of the voice activation features work properly and with ease.
2. Image resolution needs improvement to accommodate the needs of persons with vision loss.
3. Incorporate a cancel button within the app’s agree screen could offer users a clearer path to safely exit.
4. Streamline the feature known as the “accommodation profile” which is crucial to the app’s overall functions.
5. Re-design the feature that connects the app use to the user survey to provide for a less intrusive experience at this point in the design.
6. Review the issues related to the icon on the app which often interferes and crashes the app.
7. Finally, work with the team at ReadyBe to procure a number of individuals with disabilities to test the app and its
features.

Required Skills

1. High level knowledge of app development.
2. Creative thinking and ability to think ‘outside the box’.
3. Excellent research skills.
4. Good communication skills – open to hearing critique of their work and develop new ideas.
5. Programming language skills, such as JavaScript, C++, and C#
6. Computer proficiency
7. Back-end computing

9. Cross-platform development skills
10. Knowledge of cybersecurity design and implementation
11. Agile development
